Dear Reader,
Before we go any further, I wanted to confirm that yes, my name has 1 ‘T’, and this isn’t a typo.
I’m not a professionally-trained writer. I didn’t grow up with any writers around me. And I’m a tech salesman by day.
So you might be asking yourself, why do I write?
Because I think that we are monkeys that developed complex reasoning, and now we’re stuck trying to understand one and other. It’s hard, and it can be lonely, and frustrating, and sad. But as a fellow monkey, I hope to craft relatable, humorous, and absurd moments, with the ultimate goal of helping you feel like a happier, less lonely, monkey.
I’m currently working on my first novel, Octopus Guy (name subject to change).
↝How did it start?↜
I was bored at work one day and thought to myself:
‘Haha, wouldn’t it be funny if I had an octopus head?’, and started writing.
And before I knew it, I had 30+ short stories.
Now I’m in the process of tying them all together, filling in the gaps, and writing a proper start and ending to the story. This project has followed me through college and two full-time jobs. But we’re near the end, and I hope to finish sometime this year!

The first draft of the Octopus Guy manuscript has been completed.
I have now entered the fun stage of editing and polishing the stories.
More updates to come in the following months.
October, 2023
The initial draft has been reviewed by three beta readers. Corresponding edits have been made to the plot.
Line edit in progress and expected to be completed by the end of 2023.
